    History, types of systems (window, split, ducted), domestic vs commercial use, and basic principles.
    Refrigeration cycle, refrigerants, pressure-temperature relationship, and basic thermodynamics.
    Compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion devices, fans, blowers, and electronic controls.
    Wiring diagrams, motors, relays, capacitors, contactors, and troubleshooting electrical faults.
